Spring in Winter

Today was a spring day in winter; the temperature was around 20°C, 68°F. I decided to take advantage of the day to get some work done in the gardens. I cleared the leaves and dead plant stalks from the beds and even did a bit of weeding. I still had some leaves to remove and took care of them as well. I had purchased some spring bulbs from Lowe's Home Improvement and had not planted all of them. With the ground thawed and easy to dig, I got the bags of bulbs out and finished that job as well. It is getting a bit late in the season to plant bulbs; however, these have been stored in the shed where it stays cold. While it seemed like spring today; and I saw daffs and tulips up; I know that winter will come blowing back in as cold as ever.
